Maybe I am doing something wrong, but I can only see attached images if i am login to the forum, otherwise I can only see thumbnails that can't be read. I'm not encountered this in other forums. I am accessing the site using an android tablet, if it is OS dependent.

This is a measure to save bandwidth. Just sign in on that tablet and you're good, aren't you?

mherger - I have not found where the RSS feeds are located. Can you please post the link.

Found it! At the top of the forum, there is an RSS button.

Maybe this has been answered before, but I can't find the answer:

With the new forum, is there a way to provide a link to a specific post in another thread, without getting a picture of half of the Logitech logo, together with thread title and first sentence of opening post in that thread? For example, when just pasting the URL of a specific post in the LMS subforum, you get the following:

With the old forum only the URL of the linked post was shown, without the superfluous extra information. I prefer the behavior of the old forum.

Try putting it inside (code)(/code) - replace those round brackets with square ones

OK, here are three attempts to get a more compact link to a post in another thread:

                  1) Using (code)(/code) with square brackets:
                  Code:
                  https://forums.slimdevices.com/forum/user-forums/logitech-media-server/1627865-bluetooth-in?p=1627934#post1627934
                  2) Using URL BB code:
                  Linked post in LMS subforum

I think I prefer using the URL BB code, as described in https://forums.slimdevices.com/help#...ntent_advanced

                  3) Now trying to use the Link button of the post editor:

No that gives the same look as just pasting the URL. So I will go for the URL BB code.
PS: Linking to the forum Help page was working by using the Link button. But when using the Link button for the URL of the specific forum post, you get the (imho) awful looking link with partial Logitech logo...

How do you copy a link to a specific post? I can see that it is possible to share a link to a thread but have no idea how to link to a post.

Edit Never mind you just click the post number 🤦‍♂️

How about pasting the link using the link icon?

I just started fro scratch, again, and am so frustrated I need help. I burn PiCorePlayer to SS card. Connect pi to modem via Ethernet. Scan using Advanced IP Scanner. I see Raspberry, 10.0.0.52 on my setup. use Chrome (and Edge) and enter IP address and it refuses connection. I don’t have a monitor or keyboard to use on Pi.

If it wasn't for the cropped icon, would you still prefer the raw link? I thought it was often confusing with the dots in it. And people would copy paste the "shortened" link - which then wouldn't work any more.

My personal preference would indeed be that just the raw link is displayed. In my opinion the addition of the icon, the thread title and the first sentence(s) of the other thread has no added value and is a waste of space. It makes posts with links to posts in other threads unnecessary big in terms of screen area.

Something has changed since yesterday. When I click on the home icon at the top of the screen it used to go to the forum home page as expected. Now it just shows me a logo.

It may be an attempt of mherger to display a non-cropped logo when linking to a post in another thread...
