No, only slightly confusingly implemented. The documentation says:
Multi-quote allows a user to select multiple posts by clicking a button on each post. When the user clicks a button to reply, the text of each selected post will be quoted in the reply box.
"A" button... What I've found out is that once you've clicked "quote" on one posting, you can continue to quote. Those postings won't be quoted immediately, but the button would turn red. Then you hit the "Post Reply" button at the top. Intuitive, isn't it?

"It doesn't work - what shall I do?" - "Please check your server.log and/or scanner.log file!"

I failed to. I do see that you can turn multiple " icons orange, but only the first text is quoted in the reply box. "A" button do you mean advanced editor? Does nothing. "Post Reply" button at the "top" Top of where? Sorry to be daft.
I don't mind my technique where you quote, copy/cut the reply text to the clipboard, then unquote, quote the next message, then paste from the clipboard => 2 sets of quote text. Simpler than it sounds written out. But the right way would be easier.
Pretty much at the top of the page (below the headers) there's a "Post Reply" which would turn into a "Post Reply (x)" button, where x is the number of posts you've selected.

One then returns to the post to add any further information, like text and images
All, works great, thanks for clarifying. I was confused because in this case "post" doesn't mean "post" like "post" in "post reply" which "posts" the reply.
