It appears to be where the old one was, bottom right corner of each post.

          • mherger Is there anyway to embed HTML images into posts? In Material I can copy the current cover as a base64 encoded PNG, and this retuns a string of the format "data:image/png;base64,ABCD...." This can then be used to "embed" an image into the HTML source, e.g.
<img src="data:image/png;base64,ABCD...."></img>
I was hoping there was a way of using these images to paste into forum messages. The idea being that user's could copy the now-playing info from Material, and Material would add a (formatted) string into the user's clipboard with "Now playing X by Y <cover image>" But I can't get vBulleting to accept these images, it always just shows the raw base64 string. I'm guessing this is by design, perhaps as a security issue, but just thought I'd ask if there was any way to achieve this.
Material debug: 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json (Use http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json,cometd to also see update messages, e.g. play queue) 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4. REQ/RESP messages sent to/from LMS will be logged here.

I don't know. I think vBulletin has its own idea about how to handle attachments. And pasting base64 encoded images I'd have to considerably increase the max. size for text messages. And it would probably cause all kinds of odd issues with the search index on text fields?

Fair enough. Was hoping for an (e.g.) [/IMG], and this not count towards the text limit (as its not text). It was a long shot, but just thought I'd ask.

                      YES !!!

Just creeate the string as above and paste in as text

It is the string that is created in background from use of the insert image dialog box revealed by the SOURCe button at left.

This is not a bad example of a vBulletin forum. It works and that’s the main thing and as long as it does that I’d far prefer that mherger spends his time continuing to improve LMS than dick around with the forum appearance.
I believe I did say my thought. I dislike the layout and I particularly dislike the texts flying around on the screen. To the point of the incorrect button text that has since been altered, clicking 'New topics' resulted in an overview of topics that I knew already existed during my previous visit (like this topic) but now contained additional posts. Thus the text which suggested that it would show a list of unread topics was wrong, but the pleasing part of it was that it was in fact the button that I had been looking for but failed to recognize as such and only found by randomly clicking buttons to see what they would actually result in.

The problem is this bit. The web server must at point of adding the image download it and give a reference in the vBulletin database. Nearly though.
