More resilient database? It had always been Linux based, and I'm pretty sure it still is using MySQL/MariaDB. But we're no longer running it ourselves, but moved to a subscription model.

Yeah, have to find a solution to this. Link should be links, not text...

My bad. The 500 page we used to see suggested to me it was SQL on Windows.

Is that a compromise forever, or just till you work down the to-do list? Web-based on a phone forever is not a great proposition.

The (only) advantage of Tapatalk was the ability to “paste” images from clipboard but you can do that directly via the browser with whatever we have upgraded to

                    paste

How do I get a view that shows all most recent posts, from any forum, with most recent first. I can get this (see pic) for unread recent posts, but once I read something, and leave, then return to the forum, I only see unread posts. In the past, I could see "greyed out" recent posts that I had already read. Thanks for any pointers.

Even though I have a signature entered, and ticked show signature in settings, I don't see my signature in my posts. I'm not noticing anyone else's signature either.

Nice job, it looks more streamlined! Any suggestions as to find the "new Posts" and "Mark forums read" options are? Thanks

It's a user setting. See the link to your settings at the top. There's an option to "Show Signatures" in the "Account" section.

My usual way to access via web is to look at new posts and open 1 tab for each ... just needed 1 click for each message and now requires 2 with the 2nd to get "latest activity"

                                Edit:
Ignore that ... just seen the "go to last post" link over on the right of the list of posts.
Update - there is a forum setting for the order that posts within a thread are displayed. I am now experimenting with it set to "Latest Activity" so that clicking on a thread title then takes you to the most recent post but with that at the top of the page so that you read history by scrolling down rather than up.
It is much easier to click on the thread title than the tiny icon over on the right - plus no longer need to shift my eyes from reading thread title to the right to find the icon ... milliseconds saved!
