Curiously, I got an alert for your post - but as a Someone Quoted You alert - and that link was simple text not HTML!!!! The HTML one I got earlier today was a new Post to Subscribed Thread .....

I only modified the "new posting" template as a test. Working on more as I type. Quotes should be working next.

Ok, I previously thought it was fixed for all notification messages "by magic" and I now realize my error. When you had mentioned to view a message body as plain text, and it displays hyperlinks, I did, and it did. I did not realize the the view selection for a single message body affects all messages, so I did not bother turning it back to HTML for that message. After that I went back and all hyperlinks were present in all messages, even from the past, I thought the action of toggling a message might have fixed it. But it did not, I now realize that all of my messages were switched to view as plain text.

I am outing my error in case it might help others, and to clarify my previous post. I am not a TBird superuser, nor do I need to be

Really a nicely done upgrade. Thanks for making such an effort.

          It is greatly appreciated!

Could the subject of the email notifications be shorter, please?

            Now is:
"A new post in your Forum Channel subscription: General Discussion"

            I would prefer:
"[Logitech/Squeezebox/SlimDevices] new post in: General Discussion"

            Thanks for the hard work!

Well, I meant to choose only one of {Logitech, Squeezebox, SlimDevices}, so it would be definitively shorter.
My choice should be LMS, the shortest ;-)

Is it possible to have a RSS feed with all postings included either for every forum or for all forums? Now the RSS feeds do only show the first post of new topics, but no replies. For me its really hard the follow new posts in older topics :-(. I really miss the Mailingliste and hate this webbed forums :-(!

I feel your pain . The best you can do probably is to subscribe to the various groups. Then you're supposed to receive an email with a link whenever something new has been posted. It still sucks compared to a mailing list, but it's the best I've found so far.

RSS, unfortunately, would only announce new threads. As you've figured out.

Do you mean to subscribe to a topic or a group like "General discussion"?

I've subscribed to both but get no notification via email. I'll check again my preferences, but even when this notifications will work it's very hard for me to follow discussions, see new posts, etc. Finding this post and answering took me more minutes which is because the software is not replay good regarding accessibility, navigating with a screen reading software and so on.

If I will not find a solution which is fast and easy to handle for me which was the case with normal emails via the lists I am out, this is just wasting my spare time :-(.

                      Very sad :-(.

What are your settings for email notifications? You have three choices, On, Daily or Weekly.

I can only subscribe to topics and not to a group. If I try to subscribe to "General discussion" for example I get the following errors:
                          • Sorry, you are not authorized to view this page

I have also rechecked my notification settings, they were turned off. I've activated them now, lets see if this makes things easier and I get notified about replies, e.g.

All the posts in the Boom channel appear to be already set to read for me based on the subtle colour change which is not particularly obvious.

Edit. Although there hasn't been a new post to the Boom channel since December 2nd.

All the posts in the Boom Channel show read for me too. The issue is in the main view of all channels (general discussion, squeezebox radio, squeezebox touch, squeezebox boom, etc) shows that I have unread posts in the Boom Channel. In the image note that General discussion and Duet show grey icons but Boom shows Blue icon indicating there's unread posts in that channel even though I just clicked the "Mark this channel read" button.
