Darko Audio's recent video tribute to the Squeezebox (GOAT)

*If this is already posted elsewhere, my apologies*

John Darko has a good appreciation for the merits of Squeezeboxes and how well they hold up against today's popular offerings.

Not sure if I can get away with posting a link, but I'll try below:

Wow... It's really nice to see this kind of video after all these years
      - even if it's refering to the SB world as "Vintage" :-D.

Prominently featuring Material Skin, Bridge plugins, iPeng, Orange
Squeeze, Raspberry Pi - thanks for keeping this ecosystem somewhat relevant!

A great review of the Touch and the Squeeze platform! I've been happily Squeezing my music since Christmas 2008 when I got my first Duet. I now run 2 Duets, a Pi with PiCorePlayer and a Boom. Don't get the big deal about the Duets, mine run on WiFi flawlessly. I did have to replace the WiFi card in one of the Duet receivers and also a receiver power supply, but other than that they've been trouble free. Can't thank Michael, Craig, Phillip and the rest that have kept the Squeeze platform alive and relevant through the years. From my perspective the whole Squeeze music platform is G.O.A.T.!
Main system - Rock Solid with LMS 8.3.1 on WHS 2011 - 2 Duets ( both WiFi, farthest unit gets 60% signal strength and always works since new power supply) and Squeeseslave
          Cabin system - Rock solid with LMS 8.3.1 on Win10 Pro - 1 RPi 3 Model B (WiFi) /Hifiberry DAC+ Pro/PiCorePlayer and Squeezeslave
Squeezebox Boom - "At Large" player around both home and cabin
Headphones and car - Android phone/Bluetooth w/full library on MicroSD card - PowerAmp music player app (similar to Material Skin)

I loved the line @ 19.45 '... celebrate the GLORY that is the Squeezebox Touch, and by association the Logitech Media Server... '.

I couldn't agree more, and my sincere thanks to everyone who continues to keep the heart beating in my whole house music system.

Wonderful stuff! And what a great community of expertise and innovation etill exists here.

That said, is there any chance at all that the SB kit can solve the WiFi6 incompatibility issue? It's not going to get any better........

This issue must just be for specific SB devices. My 2 Duet controllers, receivers, Boom and PicorePlayer all work fine on my WiFi 6 ASUS router.

I’m sure the issue depends which WiFi Router / Access Point you are using. The SBs are fussy with some but not all.

I'm not sure whether the issue is the same as the Radio isssue, but I cannot get my Touches to work reliably in the new WiFi6 / Mesh setup ...... Haven't had a chance to try my SqueezeAmps, but the expert word here is that they will work fine.
