For "player" substitute the SB player name you want to mirror.

P.S. Not sure why it looks like there is a space toward end of that URL, but there isn't.

I'm trying to find a way to display the now playing screen in Material remotely to an android tv - sort of mirroring from tablet material to android tv (but just the now playing screen)

Any ideas?

How have you installed for your Samsung?

Endlessly "loops"

Thanks for this, its almost exactly what I'm looking for. That said, when I load the "new" responsive version, my browser just seems to get stuck in a loop; it just refreshes and refreshes, but nothing ever becomes visible in the browser page. Are there any edits to the html necessary or anything i'm missing? I have the responsive file in the same folder as the original version, which works perfectly, and have tried this on multiple browsers (chrome, firefox) all with the same results.

Thanks in-advance for any insights or suggestions.

How can I add a numeric current volume level display to this "Now Playing" screen? E.g. "76" or "76%". Thanks.

It never occurred to me to try the TV! Sadly after fighting the remote to enter the url all I get is a blank browser. This Samsung is only about 3 years old as well.
I tried the now-playing url and the mobile url for Material as well

Did you look into the Material skin plugin? It might give you what
you're looking for and more, easily installed through the plugin manager.

If you want to stick with the original display, you could use WinSCP to
copy the files. It offers an Explorer style interface, easier to handle
than the naked terminal in putty.

Thanks Michael. I've already added the Material skin plugin on my Samsung Smart TV - which works beautifully, by the way - but I've an older Samsung Smart Blu-ray player in another room with a browser the Material skin doesn't work on, so I'd like to try the other one on it.

I've tried WinSCP, but can only access the user folders added using the Synology Manager - I can't see the other folders on the volume that contain the program files. I've a feeling Synology lock these down quite heavily. I think I could get to them via PuTTY, but don't know the exact pathway to the HTML folder, and would rather use a GUI to get to it. Any advice on how I may directly access the program folders in a GUI?

Thanks

Check Settings/Information where you'll find information about the
installation folders.

Download and rename it to responsive-now-playing.html and copy it to your Squeezeserver as instructed in above post(s).

Well that puts my effort to shame - although my intention was to create a display only interface, as I have a 'now playing' display on my TV and control the S/Box from my laptop or Duet controller I still have.
