Hi. I want to download the Linn sampler record from their website. I can get it in .WMV or FLAC. I'm on a PC w/ iTunes and a 99.9% ALAC library. What format should I choose to download? Will iTunes recognize both of them? Will iTunes recognize either of them? Thanks!

I think you will need to download the flac and convert it to Apple Lossless. There are free programs for both Mac and PC that will do this. There will be no loss in quality - it's just like unzipping a file then re-zipping it.
