My original Transporter's ethernet seems to be failing. It has suddenly started losing network connectivity after a seemingly random amount of time after being powered up. Since my "knobless" backup-transporter has no problem staying connected using the same cabling, switch ports, etc, I'm thinking it's a problem with the original Transporter.
Anyone think there might be a repair option for this?

Has the 5v supply board been checked? That cheap little supply module causes all sorts of issues when it starts failing. Direct replacement modules are $25-35.
I don't even bother replacing them when they go. Recap the existing module with high quality Japanese capacitors, and it should outlive the rest of the instrument.
