    Code:
    File Format: FLAC
    Bitrate: 3345kbps CBR
    Sample Rate: 192.0 kHz
    Sample Size: 24Bits
On one DAC that makes it easy to check status, I see that what's playing is actually 96 kHz.

What's happening here? Shouldn't Qobuz be handling any downsampling, sending a 96 kHz stream? The information displayed suggests Qobuz is sending the original 192 kHz stream and LMS is having to transcode, But that would negate the purpose of that setting, so I doubt that's the case.

As far as I can tell, everything seems to be working as it should (for me, anyway). It's just that the info display is confusing. But I can live with some confusion.
Whatever was happening five days ago, it's not happening now. When playing hi-res tracks from Qobuz, LMS now displays the correct sample rate, not exceeding the maximum defined in Settings. Maybe the glitch was on Qobuz's end, or maybe there was some error in my system that was corrected by a reboot.
Usually running latest beta LMS nightly on Raspberry Pi OS with virtual players. Occasionally using SB Radio, Boom or Classic.

Always good when someone else confirms that you aren’t imagining things! Hopefully Michael will see and add to his bug list for OMLI. It’s by no means a show stopper and easy workaround so just a minor issue really.

Have you tried using the option
          LastMix using LastFM
That should add Qobuz tracks to the playlist.

              • Favourite Albums order; Playlists folders

I’m trying Qobuz for a free month. Previously only used Spotify for streaming. I’m primarily attracted by Qobuz’s hi-res content.

I’m using it with the Qobuz plugin on LMS and Material Skin. Two questions:

                1. How do I change the order that my Fvourited albums appear? They default to date-added order, but I want alphabetical by artist, as offered in the Qobuz app. Depsite thast being my choden option in the Qobuz app, the LMS plugin does not offer this as far as I can see. Am I missing a way to do this?

                2. How can I make folders within the Playlists secion? I use them a lot in Spotify, and for me they’re really useful to organise that section. Without them, I have a very long and unruly set of playlists. Again, am I missing a way to do this?

                  1. Not currently implemented in LMS.

                  2. I don't think Qobuz has this feature. Its not available in either their web or mobile interfaces.

                    Thanks, Jim.

                    1. Does that mean it's possible in LMS but not yet done? Or just not possible, full stop?

                    2. No, can't see it in Qobuz's own apps, as you say. I wondered if there was a way for LMS/Material to organise this. It would be so handy, in my view.

                      1. Michael Herger is the person to ask. I suspect it would be possible but he has a long list of other stuff to do.

                      2. There is a hybrid way. You can create LMS playlists that contain Qobuz tracks. Downside is that if you do this and then open such a playlist a few weeks later you won’t immediately SEE the details of the Qobuz tracks but when you hit play they will be picked up if that makes sense.

It's software... anything can be done :-). But it's work which takes
                        time - which I currently don't have.

Jim, thanks for that idea, but not really what I want.

Michael, understood. And I guess from the lack of replies from others here to this question that there's not much demand for such a facility.

                          • Doing a little research, it seems that Spotify, Tidal, and Apple Music, at least, all have the facility to make playlist folders. So evidently there is a demand for something that, in Spotify, I find a very useful feature for organising what over time can become quite a bevy of playlists, and I'd still love to be able to use something similar in Qobuz.

I'm guessing that if the Qobuz plugin via LMS/Material isn't going to have this facility any time soon, then it might need to happen natively in Qobuz's own app. A little more fishing around, though, gives me the impression that Qobuz are not overly responsive to user feedback and feature requests. Has anyone here had any experience of asking Qobuz for new features?

                            • MP3 is player when sending the Qobuz URL to JSONRPC

                              Hi Michael,

I just found that if I send the origin Qobuz URL to LMS via JsonRPC, only mp3 quality is played even the setting of the plugin is "Flac Hi Res 24bit/>96kHz", the request body is like this:

                              {"id":1,"method":"slim.request","params":["bb:bb:14:dc:88:26",["playlist","play","https://open.qobuz.com/track/151020043"]]}

My LMS version is "Logitech Media Server Version: 8.3.0 - 1655802730 @ Tue Jun 21 11:17:14 WEDT 2022"
                              Qobuz plugin version is 2.6.1

                              And the Qobuz log was:

                              [22-10-20 21:54:01.7856] Plugins::Qobuz::API::_get (700) https://www.qobuz.com/api.json/0.2/t...er_auth_token=

                              Is this behaviour expected? Thanks.

It's a little complicated... The plugin is a bit on the conservative
side when guessing what format to play. In the above case there's no
indicator whether the track would be available in lossless or not.
Therefore the plugin plays safe and falls back to MP3.

I could probably add another lookup to get the missing piece of
                                information from the API.
