"Top Rated Songs Recently Added" from erland's Dynamic Playlist behaving funny

The "Top Rated Songs Recently Added" dynamic playlist from Erland's "Dynamic Playlist" plug-in is behaving strangely. It's playing songs that I haven't rated at all. I DO NOT have the auto rate feature turned on in Trackstat, so that's not the problem. The unrated songs that it's adding are recently added, so it's not totally random. Has anybody else ever had this issue? Is there a new setting or something that I'm missing?

It's a little ironic, I suppose, that I never had this issue before having to pay a liscencing fee for the plug-in Sorry erland, I could not resist. The fee is well worth it if I could get the darn thing to work as designed. This is my favorite plug-in to utilize, so I hope I can get it working correctly again!

The logic is that it sorts the recently added tracks by rating and then picks tracks from the top. So if none of your recently added tracks are rated I think it will still pick among those, could this explain what you are seeing ?

As far as I know I haven't changed anything intentionally regarding this during last year. Could it be that you always have had rated tracks among recently added tracks before so you haven't noticed it until now ?

Just for information, even though it hasn't worked like that before I realized that your suggestion makes sense when viewing/playing top rated songs, so the 3.0.3772 TrackStat release just published is changed so it ignore unrated tracks in the Top Rated songs related views/playlists.

I probably do have more recently added tracks that haven't been rated yet than usual. The 4th quarter was a very busy one at work, and I have fallen behind in listening (and rating) new purchases. I do have dozens of tracks added within the past few months that are rated highly, and it seems to mix in those with the unrated tracks.

erland - it's working great now. not playing any unrated tracks, and nothing rated less than a 7 (out of 10) so far. thanks again for the quick response!
