Once the Visual Statistics plugin is enabled, there doesn't appear to be any (easy*) way to disable it — ie, it's not listed under "Active plugins".

      * deleting the VisualStatistics folder from the Plugins directory and restarting LMS works.

Why would you ever want to uninstall it? :-)

I just checked on my test machine: installed it from LMS main repo, LMS restart, plugin works, deselected it in settings, clicked apply, lms restart, plugin gone.
So unfortunately I can't reproduce your problem here. It's really a very unobtrusive plugin, no hooks, not even a pref file.
Did your log show any related error or warning messages? If so, please post them in this thread.

          Hi afriend

          Thanks for the speedy response.

Oh, it's not that I don't like it — I'm a sucker for visual data. It was just a hypothetical scenario, really.

Neither can I now. Having enabled it soon after you announced it, it was only today I noticed I it wasn't listed in my "Active Plugins".

Having manually disabled it earlier today, I just enabled it again. Lo! and behold, it's listed in "Active Plugins".

Sorry to have troubled you with a rogue bug report!

just installed this plugin, works very good, funny statistics. But I have a request.

As i'm using LMS for music AND audiobokks (flac - music, mp3 - audiobooks). It would be nice to exclude a library or an extension.
            Would be nice....

It would probably involve selecting or excluding virtual libraries. Unfortunately I don't have that much time at the moment. And I suspect this would need some testing because I wouldn't want this to significantly increase the sql query exec times. With very small libraries you wouldn't notice much of a difference but for larger libraries that might be different. It's definitely an idea I'll keep in mind and I'll look into it at some point. Thanks.

Very cool. Would it be possible for the pie charts to show the slice percentage values? This could be added in the legend.

Pie charts = doughnut charts? Hovering over the segments should do that.

Interesting plugin, thank you. Could you add a button to return from the main plugin screen to the LMS menu?

                    Thanks.

Agree, a "back" button would be useful.

Useful stats, the graphic presentation is handy, it instantly highlighted some errors in my tags, showing tracks with no year, no replay gain etc...

Also where are the pie charts, I only see bar graphs?

This is a great plugin - I learned a lot about my music collection.
I was also missing the back button, in particular if you use Squeezelite-X

                          Thanks a lot,

I think I know why you saw what you saw, it has tripped me up before.

When you clicked the plugin tick box in 3rd party to install, then apply, a server restart was required. Press to restart, and the plugin page is still visible. The plugin is no longer in 3rd party list, nor is it in installed. I think this is what you saw.

Once LMS has restarted, and you refresh the settings page, then go back to plugins, it is now under "installed".

"tracks by dated added" i guess should be "tracks by date added"
