Great, thanks. That will be a great help.

Probably best to delete it from the forum now.

Also, if you stop lms, delete the cookies.dat file. You should be able to start lms and log into BBC sounds again

Can you sign in on the BBC Sounds App or Website? After signing in there, are you still unable to sign in from the plugin? I have used the plugin for over 2 years but also use the App and I haven't been asked to sign in again via the plugin.

I have a feeling that here in France we seem to get (both on a BBC web stream on my laptop, and via Sounds on LMS) some extraneous messages that the UK doesn't get ...... It's happened several times that I've heard technical announcements that are not heard in the UK. Either some kind of Beeb finger trouble, or a bug whereby whover is testing the messages for future use is unaware that they somehow sneak though the non-UK feeds (or get activated when a listener's connection originates outside the UK).........

I heard the message again today, saying that the evening programming will not be "the usual", but "selections from BBC Sounds". Apart from that being what R4Ex is anyway, the programming now seems just as the schedule had said it would be.

Might be something to do with the World Cup, they often have to do something different with some non-UK streams because of sports rights issues. Although it still seems like a glitch if they played it on R4Ex, which is hardly "the home of sport"

Also having sign-in issues since v2.26.2

Hi there, I'm having the same issues as Ronnie by the looks of it, sign-in is failing, I should have checked the forum before updating the plug-in!

Can I provide any info or has Ronnie already provided what's needed?

Just to note that I am signed-in to bbc.co.uk in the normal way (in the same browser I'm using to change LMS settings as it happens) and all is fine with Sounds etc. via the BBC website, and I'm also signed-in fine on my Android phone.

Yes please, can you please stop LMS so that all cookies are saved and then private message me a copy of your cookies.dat.

You can then delete your cookies.dat, start LMS and you should be able to sign in again.

EDIT. Actually, please can you NOT delete your cookies.dat, I'd like to test a beta release.

I've put a new version 2.26.3 in the Beta repository at https://plugins.expectingtofly.co.uk/betarepo.xml

If possible, please would you install that version and confirm that you can sign in again.

Ah, no problem. Yes, that would be useful, You could stop LMS, restore your cookie file, then try and sign in with the new version. However, I'm pretty sure this solves the issue.

Many thanks for the info and your patience. This is fascinating, I've no clue why it's not letting you sign in. Everything is clearing, there must be something happening server side at the BBC. I'm going to create a new version with loads of logging if you would be good enough to try that. I'll put it up on the beta repository later. Thanks again for your help with this, unfortunately it's impossible for me to recreate this without waiting 2 years for a token to expire!
