Using a Pi is surely a great way to make sure the device will still be up to date in the future, as its open hardware and the software is easily upgradable.
Bryston garanties its analog devices for 20years. They stand by their products and the only way to guarantee that is to make the software part upgradeable! Nice move, I hope to see more companies developing their products as a products, not renewables. -
