    Thanks again!
I wonder why the new helper doesn't work for you. I use max2play latest version on a Pi3B with no issues.

      Spotty 2.8 Problem

The update to Spotty 2.8 results in no function.

I'm now using picoreplayer 4.1 (Tiny core Linux), LMS 9.2 on Raspi 3B. Never had problems with spotty before 2.8.

Deactivation of native ogg support => same problem. Update of picoreplayer and LMS => same problem. Can't login into spotify (Anmeldung fehlgeschlagen: called `Result::unwrap()` on an `Err` value: Os { code: 111, kind: ConnectionRefused, message: "Connection refused" } ) Mobile Device offers "Anmeldung ..." but music don'nt stop an no account activation. Spotify connect: no function

SB Radio and Touch Screensaver Clock does not work after spotty udate.

Legacy Spotty Helper Application for ARMv6/7 architecture installed => same problem.

I am a Linux noob. Can someone help me?

      Its possible to downgrade spotty?

      Thanks

It should work with picoreplayer as Michael uses it.

I think we've seen issues with older max2play versions before. Might
actually be the reason why I did those alternative builds before.

That all sounds like networking issues: Radio/Touch would not show
screensavers if they failed to sync their clock with the server. That
would have absolutely nothing to do with Spotty.

Feel free to upload your full server.log.zip to

              I use Max2Play 2.47 (latest version) on a RPi 3B rev 1.2. /proc/cpuinfo says: BCM2709, ARMv7 rev 4.

Is that the Raspbian Stretch based version of Max2Play?

Then you're not running 2.47. I just downloaded it and it tells me:

                    pi@max2play:~ $ cat /etc/debian_version
                    9.4

OK quite old then. I know there were issues with Max2Play versions earlier than Jessie.

I think earlier versions can be updated to 2.47 to obtain new features. The underlying Debian remains unchanged though. So the Max2play version can be 2.47 on Wheezy.

AFAIK Spotty has never worked on Debian Wheezy. There are quite a few posts where people have needed to update to a Max2Play based on a newer Debian version.

It did, and still does (with a little help )

yep, maybe I should consider a fresh install to prevent future issues...
