Do these appear in the standard webUI? If so, where? Must admit I have never used these.

[Edit] Never mind, found, and added for next release.

Material debug: 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json (Use http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json,cometd to also see update messages, e.g. play queue) 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4. REQ/RESP messages sent to/from LMS will be logged here.

Marlo - did you enable the "use server side menus" option in Material?

Doesn't matter, the entry is not visible as it gets excluded by the code. Next version will allow this entry.

              • Discovered an issue today with playlists. Opening a playlist and then appending to queue causes Material to freeze. After closing down and reopening, the Playing tab is the only one that will display but the play controls won't function properly. Pressing Next plays the next track in the playlist but the Now Playing does not update. Anyone else seen this behavior? This only seems to happen with Playlists.

                • Thank You for adding the A...Z sorting function for albums and artists. I know it is not the most used method of searching but I usually search through Music Folders where I have a system of hierarchical organization that I prefer over artist sort. Could a similar feature to A...Z sorting of Artists be applied to Music folders? In other skins it seems to be done numerically.

Can't say I've ever seen this, but I don't use playlists much. Just tried, and it appears to work as expected for me. Does it matter the size of the playlist? 10 entries? 100? 1000? etc?

AFAIK, no. The A..Z grouping uses the 'indexList' feature - which is only generated for artist, album, and genre lists.

I notice that in my settings under Interface I have selected 50 items per page which I think is what allows page separation with Music Folders under other interfaces (Classic or Default). Under material Skin the page is unlimited under Music Folders and just goes on and on making it difficult to find music under that scheme.

Edit: And many thanks for this Interface...Happy New Year

                        • 0.2.5 Release

                          Main changes:
                          1. Allow 'My Music', etc, to be collapsed.
                          2. Add dynamic playlists entry to menus.
                          3. Add toolbar button in desktop layout to show large now-playing info (same as mobile layout).
                          4. When setting progress bar position, check that curent song duration and time are not 'undefined'
Material debug: 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json (Use http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json,cometd to also see update messages, e.g. play queue) 2. I will have to experiment with different size playlists - it happens on the ones that I have already got set up but these typically would only contain 4-5 entries. If I click Play Now then all seems to be well (although for some reason play seems to start from the last track) but appending the list to the queue seems to cause issues. I have just tried one again and the screen freezes - see following image:

The only way forward is to close Material and then open again but until the queue is cleared the skin keeps freezing.

I have carried out tests using the standard LMS skin. I can append a playlist to a blank queue and the old skin seems to operate without any issues. If I then open up Material then I experience problems. So far I can only replicate this on Chrome and Edge via Android - operating via a PC works fine.

Hmm... That's a pretty small playlist, so size can't be the issue.

If the last track is being played, this sounds like a server issue as Material just asks the server to play the playlist - (AFAIK) the server chooses where to start.

I had seen a 'freezing' issue - where the time used for the progress was undefined, this is fixed in the 0.2.5 Release.

Ah! I was testing with Firefox on Ubuntu. However, I have just tried (with the latest 0.2.5 release) on Chrome on Android, and appending works fine.

Can you update (and clear browser cache, etc), and see if the issue is still present?

                              • I see that more and more details are showing up in the material!

                                Now radio also, great!
Can it be possible to add the pin option to entries directly under radio an not only the playable item further down?
