I thought I was imagining things when my toolbars turned blue but when I checked settings the "Colour Toolbars" box was checked. I didn't knowingly do it but thought I must have checked the box accidentally. Maybe I didn't [emoji3]

The ones I recall changing were the 'Volume step' and 'During phone call' options.

        • Launch Player

          Hi Craig

Just curious, what was the rationale for removing the launch player option? For me it was frequently used.

Despite having SB player, I never personally used that menu item to start it - always felt out of place. I think it'd be better to add an option to the APK to auto-start a player. The APK can then scan the installed list of apps to find SB Player, SqueezePlayer, or (perhaps) Termux.

In my case it was Firefox Focus extension on Safari that was causing this problem. Disabled it and Material is back to normal.

                Hi Craig,

Would it be possible to have the power button (upper left corner, when configured to be shown) act like a toggle? Right now, pressing it, switches the player off. Pressing it again doesn't switch the player back on though.

PS. After having used "the other app" for many many years, I discovered your Material Skin last week. It is a pleasure to use, both on the iPhone and iPad. Thank you !!

Power button seems to be broken.

As @Supertramp says - I've just switched a player on (using SL-X) power button won't switch it off. Can switch it off through "Manage players" > ... > Switch on/off.

Using Material on my phone (latest .apk), player was on, switched it off, can't switch it back on. Again button works fine using "Manage players".

It should be a toggle. If not, then its broken - will look into this later.

[Edit] Previous fix for power state changes broke this, will be fixed for 3.0.2

Not sure if related, but while playing music the player name keeps switching between only the name and the name + tracks/total time as in the attached images.

EDIT: On the iPad, the queue (play list) keeps appearing and disappearing at a similar time interval.

This sounds like a network issue on your system. I can't recreate this appearing/disappearing. What time interval?

It happens irregularly between 3 and 9 seconds.

My player has a wired connection to the router, however I did a reboot of the router. Also cleared the safari cache and terminated and restarted Material Skin.

Unfortunately the issue I'm facing did not go away. As mentioned, I'm using Material Skin since almost a week and I did not experiece this before today.

Let's assume the issue is unique to my situation and park this for now... until someone else faces this too.

Many thanks for your follow-up though.

EDIT: Also rebooted the RPI running LMS and it looks all is good again.

                            • Problem with esp32 configuration

Using Material desktop and Chrome browser (running on Ubuntu) I'm unable to access the NVS editor when I open the esp32 web page by selecting 'Configuration' from the context menu. Under 'Credits' the option to select 'Show NVS editor" doesn't work, but 'Show Advanced Commands' does work.

                              What does not work:

Material desktop and Chrome browser and selecting 'Configuration' from the context menu.

                              What does work:

Chrome browser and going directly to the player by entering the IP address.

Material desktop and Firefox browser and selecting 'Configuration' from the context menu.

                              LMS Version: 8.3.0 - 1667251155 @ Mon 31 Oct 2022 10:55:34 PM CET and Material Skin 3.0.1.

The pages should jsut be loaded into an 'iframe', so should just work. Any errros logged into the console tab of your browser's dev tools?
