I keep seeing update notifications on UIs on my phone and my windows machine but I fail to update by pressing this notification. Half an hour later the hint is there again.
So I would like to know what kind of update this is.
But I cannot seem to find out how to display what exactly will be receiving an update.
Am I wrong and did I miss sth?

The update can be either an LMS update or a plugin update. Plugin updates can be installed directly from Material Skin but LMS updates need to be installed by the method you would normally use.

In the Android app the page automatically scrolls down to show which plugins have updates if it is a plugin update. I can't remember what happens for an LMS update.

IPad mini, desktop mode, gets cut off at top (My Music not visible), with grey bar at bottom. Refreshing web page fixes it, but problem will return if left in open tab

The update can be either an LMS update or a plugin update. Plugin updates can be installed directly from Material Skin but LMS updates need to be installed by the method you would normally use.

also, if it's a plugin update, the behavior of material will be different depending on your status of "update plugins automatically" check box (LMS settings->plugin page, at the bottom).

If it's not checked, and you click on the "update" icon on material, material should switch flip to the setting page and show you what plugin updates are pending. You then click "update". If the update then requires a restart, you will see "restart required", click that, and you are done. I like to keep it "unchecked" so I can see what's been updated, and go to the thread to see what's new.

If it's checked, you really should only get the "restart required" icon, which you click, it takes you to settings, and you click restart.

If neither happen, and it's a LMS update, I am not 100% sure what happens, I am mostly running 8.2 and there really aren't any more updates.

Note, this is from memory, details might differ.

Easy enough to just hit the browser refresh button.
Also, saving as a Home Screen ‘App’, seems to fix it (haven’t throughly tested this yet)

Instead of

You see
Artist 1,Artist 2,Artist 3
No space after comma

Yes there is a difference.

Album in question is Carl Perkins - Blue Suede Shoes: A Rockabilly Session (2006)

It is tagged with Album Artist = Carl Perkins, Tracks are multi tagged.

As you can see the Now Playing shows Album Artist

On iOS, I am seeing the same track displayed with Track Artists shown instead of Album Artist and separated as "Carl Perkins,Eric Clapton,George Harrison" etc
