For clarity I get the blank using Material apk. The .pdf is already on my phone in the folder with the album it goes with so no need to download.Main system - Rock Solid with LMS 8.3.1 on WHS 2011 - 2 Duets ( both WiFi, farthest unit gets 60% signal strength and always works since new power supply) and Squeeseslave
Cabin system - Rock solid with LMS 8.3.1 on Win10 Pro - 1 RPi 3 Model B (WiFi) /Hifiberry DAC+ Pro/PiCorePlayer and Squeezeslave
Squeezebox Boom - "At Large" player around both home and cabin
Headphones and car - Android phone/Bluetooth w/full library on MicroSD card - PowerAmp music player app (similar to Material Skin)Comment

Sorry, Howard, I missed the important point that these are files you have downloaded from Qobuz, so they are part of your local library. Qobuz Goodies may appear on the song info page if you are playing online tracks from Qobuz.Usually running latest beta LMS nightly on Raspberry Pi OS with virtual players. Occasionally using SB Radio, Boom or Classic.Comment

You are playing music, presumably from your local library, through LMS, and using the Material apk on your phone. That much I think I understand. And you also have the albums you're playing on your phone? That's the part that confuses me. Do you have your entire local library mirrored on your phone? Or are you, perhaps, using a Samba client on your phone to access your library?Usually running latest beta LMS nightly on Raspberry Pi OS with virtual players. What I neglected to mention is that I have a full copy of my music library on my phone that I use an app called Poweramp to play music when I'm in the car or using headphones working in the yard. So using the Files app to insure my phone can display .pdf files is where I was going with that. Just left a little too much info out of my first reply. This has been reported before. The APK does not handle this re-direction correctly. I am aware of the issue, but its very low priority for me.Material debug: 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json (Use http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json,cometd to also see update messages, e.g. play queue) 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4. REQ/RESP messages sent to/from LMS will be logged here.Comment

Button Padding Asymmetry
The padding above and below the Browse/Playing/Queue buttons is asymmetric, and taller below the icon. If the padding below the icon were shrunk to match, then it would be visually symmetric, and also give the track info pane slightly more room for (truncates) track info. See below example.

Sorry, don't have a mac. Shortcuts are a best attempt, as the browser can define its own which may (as you have noticed) conflict.Material debug: 1. This is because extra padding was added so that these tabs did not overlap the swipe/navigation bar on newer iOS versions. Unfortunatley I found no way to determine whether these were required or not, so always add.Material debug: 1. In grid view, click the 3 dots on a favourite, select "select", this adds a small square box to all your favourites, put a tick in all the those you wish to play, and press play on the top toolbar.Server - LMS 8.4.0 RPi4B 4GB/NanoSound ONE case/pCP 8.1.0 - 75K library, playlists & LMS cache on Sata SSD (ntfs)

Add all your favourites to the play queue and save it as a playlist.

I had not tried "select" in the 3 dots. Selecting one favorite, inverting the selection (to get all the others), re-selecting the original, and playing the selection does work.Comment
