Would there be a way to pass multiple selected artists as variables perhaps to be used with dynamic playlists i trigger via custom actions?
For example...
While viewing "album artists" I choose select and I check 3 artists. My current options are to click play or add to queue. I also would like an option to pass the selected artists (artist ID) as variables to a script or lms command I have setup as a custom action.
Any thoughts on this idea?Comment

Hi!
Comes the menu entry "remove album" in the playlist from material or from LMS?
I think another similar option would be nice: "Remove after this track" or "Remove album after this track" (maybe shorter text).
Background:
When I listen to an album with additional tracks or remixes (maybe from a special /deluxe / rerelease edition) I want to listen only to the "pure" album only - without the bonus tracks. I know I could remove the unwanted tracks with multiple choice menu option but to to this with one click would be much easier.Comment

It wouldn't have to be added to the Track pop-up — it could just be a button alongside, say, "Clear Queue".

A "Stop playing after this track" option would be nice — functionally, it would be equivalent to "Pause after this track", so the remaining queue would be preserved.

Good suggestions but I will keep my digitallized cds as they where delivered on the physical medium.
A "stop playing" function / plugin could be a solution. Because of this is a "nice to have" function I can easily wait for something that maybe will come in the future.Comment

If you tag the bonus tracks as "Disc 2" you can still leave the tracks in the same folder and you have the option of playing individual discs or the complete album with Material Skin. I very rarely want to listen to the bonus tracks either especially when they are alternate or live version of tracks on the original CD so that might be a good option for some CDs.

Thank you for all the suggestions, I guess we're a ittle bit off topic for this thread.Comment

Hm, I will think about this. I appreciate that idea, but otherwise to tag additional tracks as disc 2 is not very consequent - I want an identical copy in my digital collection. And if there is a real disc 2 with even more tracks, I have to decide between marking the physical disc 2 as disc 3 or combining the bonus tracks from disc 1 with the tracks from disc 2 as one "virtual" disc 2.

You can still keep the identical copy in your folder structure and you can always play the original copy this way from the folder. If you have two discs, create two subfolders and keep the actual physical disc and track numbers within the folders. Create the alternative ''virtual" structure with tags. This gives you two different alternative ways of playing it.Comment

nowPlayingExpanded
Craig,
If (for Squeezelite-X), I wanted to remember the state of expandedNowPlaying between runs, how would I read that setting? I don't see anything in localStorage, so is there a variable or something I can read?
