I have been looking to move favorite-links from radiostations to subfolders.
Created a subfolder and tried with drag&drop to move a station in it, but no moving.
Just asking if anybody is using that with success.
If so, I think something is wrong with my install.
Using the latest/greatest LMS 8.1.0 & Material Skin 2.1.3
Or have I to do this moving with an other method?
thanksComment

What determines whether a device has "fixed volume" in Material skin or not?
I've found my devices are "fixed", yet I can control their volumes through the main LMS web interface and through other phone apps.RadioFeeds UK & Ireland.. an up-to-date radio directory for your Squeezebox/Transporter/UE Smart Radio.. available from the mysqueezebox.com App Gallery.
Bonus: our RadioFeeds LMS plugin also lists AAC and the BBC's high-quality HLS streams on top of what's available in our MSB app.

Apple Watch
Hi Craig,
Amazing work with Material. Been using it since the beginning. Is it possible to add a scaled down apple watch view? Material pulls up on the watch but there is too much going on for it to work properly.
Thanks!

If LMS indicates a player has no digital volume control then Material will show the "Fixed volume" label.Material debug: 1. I'd imagine Material is a bit 'heavy' for a watch. I think a much simpler interface would be required, but I have no such device.Material debug: 1. This comes up again, and again, and again, and always (it seems) with tidal. The list of apps comes from lms, and (AFAIK) the material call is ok. Tidal is a mysqueezebox.com, so the player needs to be registered there and have tidal enabled for it. If you change player whilst in myapps the list of apps may change - if one is on mysqueezebox and the other not, etc.
I got to the bottom of this with Michael and thought I'd share it for anyone else interested. As you say, you're reading the available Apps for a player from the LMS. For mysb based Apps like Tidal, the player needs to be registered on to the logged in used on mysqueezebox.com. With hardware based players, it's straight forwards to register on mysb as you can connect the player directly instead of using a local LMS. However, with non official players (e.g. Pi's running PCP/Squeezelite in my case), they can't connect directly to mysb. To work around this, Michael added functionality in LMS to add a player to mysb when it connects to the LMS (so long as the LMS is logged into mysb of course).
All good so far. The problem I have is that some of my players won't register on mysb because it had already been added in the past to someone else account. The registration is by MAC address. Someone else had run squeezelite or something else on the PIs that wouldn't register for me and those MAC address will stay registered forever to that persons account. I hadn't thought of this - I know about it for a Boom/Touch etc., but of course some previous owner of my second hand PIs had also used them as an LMS player.
So, if you can't see Tidal listed under Apps in Material for a particular player but it's there for other players, it's likely that your MAC address is listed to another user. Have a look at mysqueezebox.com/Players. If it's missing, you likely need to ask Michael to manually remove that particular MAC address from someone else's account.

Yes would need to be much simpler. The default LMS interface pulls up properly but everything is so small. The zoom feature on the watch doesn't work well with it so it's unusable. I thought the ios protocols would be similar to the phone but sounds like maybe its not.Comment

Even my official Squeezebox Receiver is shown as "Fixed Volume".
My newer LMS sitting on my NAS doesn't have this problem.

Announce: Material Skin
I noticed sometime recently that I am not seeing song ratings in the material skin any more (I'm sure I used to be able to see this and set ratings on the currently playing track).
I'm on LMS 7.9.4.
Has something happened to break this (maybe LMS 7.9.4, or a plugin update)?

Nevermind - it seems that somehow the setting "Show rating" had been disabled. I seem to have to enable this on each device that I use the material skin on (I've never disabled it, always had ratings shown, so I don't know what caused it to drop the setting from all devices).
