what i miss, is the album cover as background and the notification with controls in the lock screen in android

If you use Chrome then you can have this display controls and album art. Material fakes this by playing silence in the background. It sort of works, but is not great. The issue is that Material is a web page and its not actually playing the tracks itself.

If you use the APK, and Material is the current/active app then the whole app will appear above the lock screen.

i remember there was a post saying that it was not possible, or not easy to do it, or you were not going to set it for right reasons
so, i'm just asking if there is some possibilities now or if it is at the same point

Ron F. Try latest version. I've converted to HSV and then set min/max V - regardless of dark/light.

[Edit] If you want to play with the limits, etc. the relevant code is in the 'calculateColors' function in 'currentcover.js'

Dynamic color suggestion

Branch 3.4: I have been playing with the dynamic coloring feature, and I have a suggestion regarding how the color is chosen when a dark theme is used, and "Color toolbars" is disabled. In the following, I am using HSV instead of RGB.

When an album cover is displayed that is dark, on average, the dynamic color selected is usually also quite dark, and when using a dark theme, the colored controls, volume and playing progress are difficult to see. Clearly, at low light levels, humans are terrible at perceiving color.

I note that when using a dark theme, the Value of the toolbars is 60 or less. I recommend therefore, after playing with HSV values in GIMP, that when using such a theme, with toolbar coloring disabled, that the Value for the dynamic color be railed no less than 100, and leave Hue and Saturation alone.
