I've noticed that in the debug window there are no play, pause or volume change events being shown. Was there a change in the LMS Telnet data that is displayed?

Try uploading the downloaded EXE to VirusTotal. I think you'll find you are getting a false positive, but VirusTotal is the best way to check...

I may have moved that into debug, so you may need to enable debug level.

Again, not a big deal, but SLX is the only app this happens with for me--the rest all say "Modified yesterday", "Modified 2023-03-15", etc. Might just be something about how the Store version is packaged.

SLX has recovered from laptop sleep perhaps 6 or more times now (with no failures) so I'm pretty certain the problem is fixed. Thanks Greg.

First of all, thank you for this great peace of software. Using it all the time.
I recently discovered the 'Enable Denon AVR control' option. Now I can control my Marantz sr6014 from my desktop.
I have a couple of small problems with the contol:
In the source drop down not all sources are displayed, looks like a scrollbar is missing?
The volume control does not show the volume, so everytime I control the volume it starts at -79,5db.

Are these user or configuration errors or is this somethig that can be fixed?

What is missing? SLX filters out certain internal sources that you could not configure with a player, such as Radio/Tuner, Bluetooth, Network. It also does not show AVR inputs that are set to "Hide" (On the receiver). Let me know if you have something not in that category. Not a scrollbar issue, but could be something peculiar to Marantz vs Denon. Once you have selected an AVR and a Source, SLX associates that with the currently selected squeezebox player. After that, if you play something on that player, SLX will automatically turn it on and configure to that source, if needed.

Speaking of Marantz, As far as I know, you are the first person to ever try the Denon control feature with a Marantz. I have assumed the interfaces are identical. I know they are almost identical, but there may be a small differences that I need to account for. I have no Marantz receivers to debug with, but I do have 5 Denons ranging from Oldest AVR-3311, to newest AVR-X4500H. It would be great if we could work together on the Marantz end of things. The process would involve me giving you a little program (or a special version of SLX) that would query the Marantz and log the results and you could send to me so I could see what is does.

As to the volume... I know you say that the volume control does not show the volume and that it "starts" at -79.5. Do the Volume controls work at all, can you increase the volume and does it ever display a number? Do you have your volume control on the AVR itself configured for the dB scale or the number scale?

Btw, the latest version available on OneDrive and the Store is 2.11.56. I believe this fixes the 14 second refresh issue some were experiencing. It may solve the false positive virus scans as well.

I am working with richardsqueezelitex who has an Antipodes Music Server that hosts LMS. IF anyone else has an Antipodes Music Server, let me know. So far what I am seeing is confusing to me.

A call to a Telnet KeepAlive function with parameters that are apparently server system dependent. I had changed the parameters in an experiment to better recover from Modern Standby. I left those changes in there after seeing no issues on all my systems. Anyway the code was causing the Telnet connection to timeout/die (on some systems) and SLX would detect and then reconnect on that interval. What is hosting your LMS, by the way?

These are based on Linux? Don't they use Roon server or something like that?

I used to run my LMS on Linux but for the last few years I've been running it in a TrueNAS jail which is using FreeBSD 13.
But if you ever need to test something across a variety of LMS Operating Systems, feel free to reach out.

I'm running SLX .52 and I didn't see any flickering.
