    Thanks

Same here - can someone give me the post number that contains the OneDrive link, (One on 1st page doesn't work for me).
      Thanks

Sorry - ignore the above. I've found the OneDrive link and all good now re-installed.

Thank you Greg so much for your efforts.

Sorry everyone that was impacted. My update, submitted to the MS Store, was processed as of around 10:38am Mountain Time this today, so we should be good there. Also, if switching between the traditional installer and the Store App, I recommend uninstalling one before installing the other. They are not aware of each other and you don't want both installed at the same time.

            >> I found out, that using Squeezelite-X sometimes it needs a connection to Akamai Technologies in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.

mherger pointed out that Akamai is a CDN, but also if you lookup "crl.microsoft.com" (where all Certificate Revocation Lookups for Microsoft certificates are sent to), you'll see that it actually goes to xxxx.akamai.net.
So anytime a Microsoft certificate is checked for revocation (i.e. to confirm it hasn't been revoked), there will be a query to Akamai. These responses are then stored in a cache with a validity timeout, so the OS won't query again for days/weeks.
This would explain what you've reported: An occasional requirement for a communication to Akamai.

Type the following at a command-prompt, and you'll see what I mean:

            nslookup crl.microsoft.com

Does Squeezelite-X lock / gets exclusive access to any audio device it is using (on Windows)? I ask because, while I mainly use hardware players, I run SLX on a few Windows PCs and I've noticed that if I try and use the same audio device (usually headphones) from some other application (e.g. web browser) then I often have trouble getting the audio to work (silence) and often have to unplug / replug devices. When I then wish to continue playing music in SLX, it typically then doesn't play (silence again) and I have to edit the SLX settings to change to another audio device, apply, and then switch back to my headphones.
It's not that big an issue - I typically use one set of headphones for music (SLX) and the built-in audio speakers for web browsing - but I was just wondering if this behaviour was expected...

That is an error, my fault (accidently commented out a certain compiler switch). 2.11.49 (available now) fixes this error.

I'm on 2.11.48 on latest Windows 10, and for the past few weeks, I've noticed that Squeezelite-X has become a lot more flaky about dealing with Windows sleep/wakeup events. In particular, on wakeup I've seen it produce a mostly black window with what looks like a shrunken version of the contents in it, or just sit on the Squeezelite-X settings screen with a spinner going. The only fix is to kill the app off via Task Manager and restart it.

I realise you will now ask for a screenshot, which I don't currently have, but will provide next time I see it. Is anyone else having these issues?

                        Yes, I have this problem.
I've only recently started sleeping my laptop at night (when I finally realised how much it costs to leave it on) and I've had SLX do this 3 or 4 times now. I hadn't actually realised that it was sleep causing it, but it makes sense since I've never had the problem before.

Thank you for letting me know, I'll run some tests and see if I can reproduce.

Also, update to .49 if you can. It won't fix this problem but it does fix the error reported above.

This is an example of it failing to work on being woken up. In this case I could close it with the "Exit" option on the tray icon. This was probably on .48 but now it seems to be running .49

I had it again this morning (again after a sleep). The app shows in the tasktray, there is a yellow warning triangle, but I cannot get the window to open - it appears blank. Right clicking the app in the tasktray and choosing close will close it fine and it immediately works when you re-launch it.

I'm on Windows 11. It isn't an obvious resource issue (I'm using 25GB out of 64GB RAM and every other apps is running fine, as does SLX when I relaunch it).

Here's a screenshot of the app in the tasktray. You can see that the preview window is completely white:

If I click on the app to view the window, the SLX window is completely white:

(the work PC locks down the Windows Store so I periodically update the software manually)
