New version 2.11.20 submitted/uploaded,
Changes:
- Another attempt to avoid "Cannot Register Tab" exception that onimod is seeing on startup. This is an exception that gets thrown when the interface I use to handle taskbar icon thumbview, progress, and custom buttons fails to register. I'm not able to reproduce it and the message is harmless. I'm just going to suppress the message for now.
onimod, if you still see the message, please let me know.

No difference with a typical boot - exactly the same message but I've got a new clue:
Surface Pro 7 + Surface dock 1 connected to an external monitor = error
Surface Pro 7 = no error
Does that resolve or add to the confusion?Comment

All my music has embedded artwork as well. I also do not ever see the "local artwork" menu item.Comment

When you say "boot", do you mean just starting the SLX application, or do you mean PC boot with "auto-start on login" checked On?

Thanks for the clue. I may need to dig into the runtime library of my development stack, because I tried to supress the message everywhere that I could be triggering it, yet to no avail. I run other system multi-monitor, but not my surface, I don't have a dock for it. At this point, I'm not aware that others are seeing this, so I'm guessing that it is something very peculiar is going on. I'll keep looking.

After multiple cycles this evening I think I've discovered that waiting longer after a restart avoids the error.
I'll have another go to confirm tomorrow.Comment

I think I have the same dock. Have you tried doing an update on the dock? On mine, I thought the dock updated itself when I connected and found out I had to manually update. Wasn’t sure if there was a setting and didn’t look hard enough since I ended up replacing my Surface shortly after.

I've just pushed 2.11.22 to the Store (will take a day or two to publish), with another attempt to suppress the exception you are seeing. This time, I made a change in the run-time library of my development stack. I'm pretty optimistic you will not see this exception again with the new version.

I got no error message despite launching SX immediately after a restart.
As usual you have gone above and beyond - thank you.Comment

Just noticed a feature ! (Not as in MS "Feature")
Holding LH mouse button on the pause symbol brings up "Sleep" Never noticed that one before !
Thanks for the ongoing support !

You can thank Craig Drummond/Material Skin for that one. Yah, I noticed that one the other day as well.Squeezelite-XComment

Version 2.11.25
Changes:
- Fixed bug that caused images to sometimes not show for Pandora stations.
- When playing a Pandora station, set taskbar icon caption to the name of the station, rather than the name of the current track.
- When playing a Pandora station, show name of station in caption of Materials Skin mini-browser.

Version 2.11.28
FYI, I replaced 2.11.25 with 2.11.28 to fix a little font scaling issue in one to the Denon control menus and some unwanted logging that I forgot to turn off. So the new version will be 2.11.28, not 2.11.25.

I had a problem with Squeezelite-X, it crashed on me. Now, if I open Squeezelite-X, then it shows up in the taskbar below, but inaccessible. I see in Task Manager that I have now 4 instances running. When killing the application, I am able to start up Squeezelite-X and everything runs fine. Just mentioning it.
Best regards,
