The App on my phone will give me custom playlist and recommendations based on listening history whereas this Spotify only gives basic menu options like the ability to choose playlist based on genre and other basic options. It's definitely a big improvement over the previous Spotify plugin but not a full featured Spotify app, unless I've missed something somewhere down the line.Michael

Michael,
ver 0.7.1 runs just greatThanks for providing it.
However I am afraid to ask what's your progress of implementing full spotify connect functionality (i.e. accessing SB devices as players thru the original Spotify app)...

I have recently migrated my setup to new server and player device, and I'm happy to report that Spotty (also) works great on my Synology DS 716+ II (Intel 64bit) using pinkdot's LmsRepack and a Raspberry 3 based SB Touch clone (RPi3, Max2Play, HiFiBerry Digi+ Pro, Squeezelite & Jivelite).
Much appreciated you took the time for this, thanks :-)
I guess you and a lot of people prioritize Connect support first, but if you find time to work on UI details, I would love to see the Album lists of Artists cleaned up, so they only include albums (See for example Radiohead). But at least it looks like albums are currently grouped in top of the list.Last edited by Stig Nygaard; 2017-06-25, 12:45./Stig

Lms 7.9.0 installed + 7.9.1-1498126617 + spotty 0.7.1. When starting lms or trying to setup spotty I get spotty no valid win32 application.
Trying to run lms on old win XP machine. Is there a way to solve this? (at the moment not in to a fresh W10 or W7 install)
Does spotty only run on x64?
Perhaps here is where the solutions lies https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...32-application ?SqueezeBoxes: 1x Transporter (Living room) 1x SB2 (shed), 1x Radio (Kitchen), 1x Boom (Dining room), 1x piCorePlayer (jacuzzi), 1x piCorePlayer (Garden) 1x OSMC + Squeezelite (Movie room), 1x Touch (Study 2), few spare unit's (SB2, SB3, Boom, Touch)
Server: LMS on Pi3B+ 8.1.2 on PcP 7.0.1

Is it a limitation of the current Spotty app that I am not able to scroll to a mid-point in a track? Currently it will only play from the beginning.Matt

visual 2015 did not solve the problem. first I got a missing mfc100.dll error so I removed LMS and visual studio, rebooted.
installed visual 2015, rebooted. installed lms 7.9.1 and added spotty. Rebooted, same error of invalid win32 application.
Really want to have this runningSo far already glad with 7.9.1 now spotify working would be amazing
