[Test] Repo for LMS 7.9.0 on Synology DSM 5.*

24/96 flac downsampling issue

LMS 7.9.0 on Synology DSM 5.2-5565 doesn't play 24/96 flac files on SB classic and SB Receiver/Duet, suggesting downsampling is not working.

No problem playing 24/96 flac files on SB Touch however.

Yes running LMS 7.9.0 Repack on a DS411+II

OK...after deleting the Syno LMS package I donwloaded pinkdot´s LMS package.
But once I confirmed the settings (see following pic)



the package can´t be installed (see below).



Any tip what I need to do?

Edit: I needed to change the "Trust level" in the General settings to "Any publisher". :-)
Now installed :-)

Did you add the repository to your Package Center, or did you download it direclty from my website?
It is best to add the repository first to the Package Center.

Hi pinkdot,

all was done via DSM's package center (settings => package sources => add => name & location).

But the Installation worked only after i changed the trust level as described in my earlier post.

After that ....everything works like a charm!!!!
SBT works again & the music is back again. :-)
Add the DS213 to your list, too . ;-)

I will have an update this weekend with an other version of sox, which is used for downsampling. Please let me know if this solves your problem. Thanks.

My DS1815+ updated this morning and the LMS repack is still working just fine

after installing the update (7.9.0-1432134370) I can not start LMS Repack.
Before updating everything was wonderful (DS 114, latest firmware). Any ideas?

OK, thanks for reporting. I just updated the package. Hopefuly this 1 will start. Please check DSM Package manager for an update, 7.9.0-1432134371.

I've another one ready for you, just check your Package Center, 7.9.0-1432134372. This is the same package I use for the armada375. Which I test on my machine. No issues here. So, please try again. Sorry for any inconvenience.
