If you do not see your UPnP-AV device being listed as a player in LMS then go to the plugin settings page and check to see if the plugin is running (top of the page).
If it is not, and you are running on Windows (as you are) then you might have to install some Windows modules - there is a link at the top of the page.
Regarding the windows modules, I had installed the x64 runtime, , but missed the x86 one. It's all good now.

    Thanks for your help!

These are my working settings for WiiM Mini with UPnP/DLNA Bridge 2.1.11

      EDIT.
Following advice in the WiiM forum that the Mini "just worked" I re-tried without any transcoding or flow mode with UPnP/DLNA bridge 2.1.1 and the Mini now plays DSOTM gapless again - !!?
Metadata and coverart is being displayed in the WiiM App.
My WiiM is set with Max Sample Rate at 96000 as that is the max capability of the DAC it is connected to via Optical.

        Aux input

Regarding the aux input on the mini and pro, I'm assuming the only way of hearing this source at another location is to use another Wiim device set to this source, correct?

@d6jg are you still getting gapless playback using UPnP/DLNA bridge. I have tried with both the 2.1.1 version and the newest dev version and I still get a gap between gapless tracks. I have used the same settings as you show on the LMS forums. Other than that everything else is working. BTW I also asked you this on the Wiim forum but thought I would try you here as well.

As you know I’ve seen your WiiM forum post. I will recheck tomorrow (Fri)

I have re-checked and DSOTM is playing correctly.
As you can see from below I am a little behind as far as LMS version is concerned but otherwise everything is pretty much standard. These are new screenshots.
Is there anything different in your set up?
WiiM Mini is Optical Out set at 96k

Various versions of DSOTM all Flac rips.

OK I finally got around to testing this again and I figured out it was the version I had installed. I had version 2.1.1 not 2.1.11. As soon as bumped it to the 2.1.11 version gapless with your settings (which are basically the default) worked flawlessly. I will stay at this version until its confirmed the newest version also works. It plays beautifully with the Wiim now. Still holding out hope for the squeezelite integration. Thanks for your help!!!

I am also staying at 2.1.11 for now for the same reason.

Note that the UPnP bridge does not pass metadata changes to the WiiM in the case of Radio Paradise, BBC Sounds etc but this seems to apply no matter what UPnP device you use and also applies to Chromecast bridge. I don’t really care though as I’m using Material and I doubt I will ever look at the WiiM Home App for Now Playing info.

Same here. I just use the Wiim as an endpoint.

Hi, just joined here having been a WiiM Mini user for almost a year now, as well as frequenting the ASR, head-fi and wiimhome forums.

Re Amazon Music, WiiM use the Amazon MRM stack to implement their devices as, in effect, amazon echos in order to play lossless amazon music and other services, including being able to join an alexa multi room music group. They might be unique in doing that - Naim are aware of this stack (see the response from their software director here https://community.naimaudio.com/t/am...s/16537?page=7 ) while Bluesound seem blissfully unaware from their community forum responses. This means that you can use AlexaCast from the amazon music app direct to a WiiM device - again, WiiM may well be the first and still the only third party devices that support that. Indeed, I bought the WiiM Mini to play Amazon Music HD into my Linn MDSM/4 since Linn have been battering their heads against a brick wall to get the necessary support from Amazon to allow them to support Amazon Music natively.

I joined this forum to keep on top of LMS developments since setting it up a few weeks back on an old Raspberry Pi I had at the back of a drawer - as you say, the UPNP bridge works very well with the WiiM devices.

                            Welcome aboard.
If you haven't already make sure you try Material, Music & Artist Information, Last Mix, BBC Sounds, Radio Paradise
I see the WiiM's ability to play Amazon HD as its second biggest plus point behind LMS compatibility. We'd love to have an Amazon HD plugin on LMS.

I just received the Mini earlier today. Setup was a bit of a dog's dinner. Testing it with bluetooth headphones via UPnPbridge. I'm reserving judgement at the moment.

I got a Wiim pro a few days ago. As i posted on the Upnp Bridge thread, LMS/Upnp bridge version 2.12.11 works well with the Wiim after changing the gapless setting to "force". Also, as an experiment, i plugged the output from my Squeezebox Duet receiver into the Wiim Pro input - and voila, native LMS client via the Wiim. (That is not my planned use case, but for those who have a spare Squeezebox, it would be an option pending any implementation of Squeezelite by Wiim.) Overall, i think the Wiim Pro seems to have good build quality and functionality for the price.
