Am currently using "Player" but that is ad-supported and am not keen on anything that could use my data connection.
RocketPlayer fits the bill, plus it will scrobble to Last.fm

Is there a current method for accessing squeezeserver remotely that doesn't involve opening up the server to the web with no authentication? If not, that would need to be worked on first.

The only safe way is with a VPN but that is easy enough to do.
