View Full Version : Sudden bizarre .m3u behavior on my SliMP3

I just managed to lock my SliMP3 into a bad state. I tried to play a
stream playlist:

roy@mesmer Streams $ cat RadioParadise.m3u
http://64.236.34.196:80/stream/2001

As it happens, the link is stale. (RP does that now and then, so I have
to refresh my playlists every so often) I missed the play button and
accidentally hit FF. The slimpy launched off into this tight loop of
trying to play, failing and then (because repeat:all was set) trying to
play again. I had to kill the server, delete all the '__*' playlists
and restart to recover. Strangely, my Squeezebox didn't act that way,
but to be honest, I didn't check the repeat setting. I'll run through
this in a more controlled manner after some sleep, but it looks like
repeat:all should drop out if all tracks in the playlist fail.

Hi Roy,

Sounds like you hit a bug. Can you file it on
http://bugs.slimdevices.com/ ?
