I'm running Windows 8.1, and when I check what play devices I have connected, I get squeezebox radio, but it says it's not windows certified. However, I can't get it work work... whenever I try to play something and try to use play, it is simply not listed.

Has anyone had any success?

I am going to guess it's simply Windows seeing a UPnP/DNLA media device. I can't see it working as a media renderer.

Have you connected radio to your mysqueezebox.com account. Should have during setup.

If you follow these steps it should work:

I've played around with this and it works if you enable proxied streaming under LMS->Advanced settings->Player->Audio->MP3 Streaming Method.

However LMS Windows doesn't get the reported duration (played time) from LMS, and I because of this I can not que up songs to play. I have to press play on each induvidual file.

If I use the DLNA Controller on my phone, I get the duration from LMS, so it must be something Windows doesn't like with the way LMS reports it.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
