View Full Version : Adding songs to an existing Deezer playlist?

Hi there,

Am I completely missing out on something or is there no way to add a song to an existing playlist when using the mysqueezebox deezer app on a Logitech squeezebox radio?

I seem to be able to do everythin: search for songs, add them to favorites, listen to playlists,... but I cannot find a way to add a new song to an existing playlist. No menu or button seems to be available for that....

When I looked into this feature there was a problem with the API. I must
admit it's been months ago. So I might give it another try sometime soon.

I just rolled out an update to mysb.com which should re-enable this
feature. Please give it another try.

Yes, the same way you'd add a local track to a playlist.

Hello

In fact, i can't.
I see "ajouter la playlist A" "ajouter la playlist B" that are Deezer playlists but i don't see "Ajouter ..." that I see for local tracks.
Am I wrong ?
Thanks

LMS local playlists can't be created like this. All you can do is add a
track to your current queue, then save this queue as a playlist. There's
no "Add to playlist A". Playlist management definitely isn't one of LMS'
strengths.

Wow! It works again for me, too. That's fantastic, thanks a lot!

Satisfied so far but curious about another thing:

When I'm listening not to Deezer but to any web radio on my squeezeboxes (via mysb.com/TuneIn) and press the "+", I get the option to look up the now playing title or artist on Spotify and add them to my Spotify favorites. As far as I remember when I used Napster some years ago there was such an option for Napster, too. However, I see no way to "transfer" the now-playing-information to the deezer plugin.

If it works with Spotify and Napster, will it stay a sweet dream to have it for Deezer as well? ;-)
