I'm looking for a Boom style remote - for Logitech radio use, the original is broken.

These are all out of stock at Logitech (worldwide?) and none on ebay or the usual sources.

The Touch remote is available but the shipping cost is almost as much as the remote iteelf!

If it helps, I just use this one: http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/product/harmony-remote-650?crid=60
It does everything I need it to for all my devices.

Yes .... another multibuttoned remote is just what I don't need!!! Thanks, anyway.

They seem to be in stock in the UK (can't post link as this is my first post), but they don't seem to ship out of country.

Perhaps a UK forum member could do a group purchase for those abroad who need one?

The remote for my Radio stopped working - new battery made no difference. Touch remote works. I contacted customer support and they agreed to kindly send me a Touch remote - radio is still within warranty.

Maybe the Boom remote will come back in stock ... I somehow doubt it.

Is the Radio remote and Boom remote the same? My first Boom remote had an issue that I think others have had. Turns out you can actually completely remove the plastic tray, slightly bend up the metal battery contacts, and re-assemble. Worked for me! HTH.

How broken is "broken"? These are very simple devices. If you can get it going on its last legs then buy one of those universal remotes that learn codes (Philips 7060 springs to mind) and get it to learn.

Logitech kindly replaced it with a Touch remote. Can't be bothered to learn all new button layout on those universal thingies.
