I just added some tracks to my library and started a delete and rescan. Unfortunately it seems now that Scanner.exe runs and runs for ever and never finishes. What could be the reason for this? (Note that scanner.exe does not seem the hang, but it just seems to run and run forever doing nothing...) (Using v7.7.2)

Yesterday iTunes was trying to do an update and it repeatedly failed to install. Since both LMS and iTunes are using the same music library, I wondered if there might be some kind of file locking conflict between the two applications that might be blocking them. So instead of wasting a lot of time tweaking around, I used the sledgehammer approach, and fully uninstalled iTunes and LMS, and then did a clean install again of them both. It took me about 3 hours, but it now works fine.Regards,
