Suddenly the sound is gone in the web interface, the radio and "Squeezeplay"both have sound.
this is a line from the log:
:
[13-03-10 11:13:51.5395] Slim::Networking::IO::Select::__ANON__ (147) Error: Select task failed calling Slim::Web::HTTP::sendStreamingResponse: illegal file descriptor or filehandle (either no attached file descriptor or illegal value): at /<C:\PROGRA~2\SQUEEZ~1\server\SQUEEZ~3.EXE>Slim/Networking/IO/Select.pm line 150.

I rebooted ,but no change.

The web interface can't play audio. You must be using a software player. SqueezePlay (which you say is working)? SoftSqueeze?

So what you have there is two different things - SqueezePlay (that is producing the sound) and the LMS web interface that just controls SqueezePlay but doesn't produce any sound on it's own.

Yup, you are confusing your SqueezePlay software player and the LMS web UI. The first plays audio on your computer, the later does not.

As long as you've got SqueezePlay working, it doesn't really matter though, does it? (That is, other than wondering about memory loss or "misremembering"....).

It might appear that the web Interface is producing sound if you have Squeezeplay opened, as the web interface can be used to control Squeezeplay once it is opened

That makes sense.
