After spending much time finding and testing the URLs to Absolute Radio UK's FLAC radio streams, only to (spend even more time and) post them for the incompetent "moderator" to lose, I'll take my knowledge elsewhere. Anyone with the gumption to do so can search and find the fruits of my work, but not here.

Dont be grumpy this is your second post and there is no moderator involved .

You are simply not allowed the post url in you first post ! thats an automatic response to remove spambots by the forum software .

Now you can probably post all the urls you want .

Hoppefully you did not spend hours searching and pasting urls to post but had them in a text doc on the side ;)

Have you measured or are you going by the info supplied in the http icy header (e.g. ice-bitrate=128) ?

My original post with URLs does not appear in my browsers (Firefox, Comodo Dragon, Tor Bundle, Internet Explorer), nor in my Australian friend's browser.

There's something very odd about this site.

Cleared the browser cache lately ? But it could be f-up in data center somewhere sites probably served out of multiple points from some server farm(s) and often proxied somewhere to ?

Odd. This site always displays normally to me on Firefox and Internet explorer and chrome. I'm in US but many users are in Europe.

Well then I'm back to believing my original theory that the first post was auto blocked due to being OP's first post .

The odd thing is that it has been partly visble ?

Classic icecast.timlradio.co.uk/absoluteradio.co.uk/acflac.ogg

I added the missing 'g' to your 00s and Classic, which you had posted as "a0flac.og" and "acflac.og," respectively.

Also, I got to the bottom of why my URLs didn't show up on the other thread: I made the mistake of editing my Classic URL which I had posted as "aclac," adding the missing 'f,' which delayed the post yet again, till the moderator could approve the links.

Furthermore, one can substitute either icecast.as34763.net or audio2.uk.ipercast.net for icecast.timlradio.co.uk in all URLs above.

Whether these three sets of hosts are independent, or one (or two) of them main and the other(s) redirect, I don't know. Perhaps another more versed in deciphering robtex.com data knows.

Not sure how you're getting the links, but I just opened the pls files from http://www.absoluteradio.co.uk/listen/on-other-devices.html in a text editor. You sound like you've found a harder way to crack this egg!

(You can also just use the pls links too)

To get them to work in LMS, copy the required link into the "Tune In URL" of the Radio Section of Logitech Media Server.

Absolute Radio stream URLs
(All streams below are playable in VLC media player and latest stable version of foobar2000 but note, these streams don't run 24/7, but they probably would if more people used them besides myself and a handful of others).
