Hey All,

I am pulling my hair out trying to get ask (Windows media streams) to play
via Slim Server on my Squeeze Box and Slimp3.

I am running Fedora Core 2 with the latest nightly build. It is my
understanding that Windows Media file do not work by default (on Linux) and
so I have installed ffmpeg and added the following lines to convert.conf

wma wav squeezebox *
[ffmpeg] -v 0 -i $FILE$ -f wav -

wma mp3 * *
[ffmpeg] -v 0 -i $FILE$ -f wav - | $lame$ --silent -b $BITRATE$

After restarting the server the new convert.conf stuff is picked up and
shown with a check mark under "file types"

Now, on the play list from I have tried a couple of things...

I have tried a somename.m3u file that contains the url

I have tried a somename.m3u file that contains the url
that I got from opening the above asx file....

Nothing seems to work. In softsqueeze it says connecting but changes to
"can't open file for: "

When run with --d_stream-v I get the following...

I have tried google and read over the list, but it's hard to tell when
people are talking about Win vs. Linux. Any help would be appreciated.
