View Full Version : iTunes Playlists won't go away...

Not sure if this is unique to me and my configuration (since I'm running
SlimServer on Linux and iTunes on Windows), but when I delete a playlist
in iTunes, it doesn't actually go away in SlimServer.

The iTunes integration is working great otherwise... Newly created
playlists show up within about a minute, and in fact it's so efficient
that even playlists that are created only very temporarily and quickly
deleted (by accidental drag and drop to the playlist window in iTunes,
for instance) still end up getting stuck in SlimServer.

About the only way that I can get rid of these playlists is to do a
"Wipe Cache" from the Server Settings, which of course forces a rescan
at which point everything is fine, but not only is that a manual
process, but it takes a while to run.

At this point I'm running the lastest nightly build, but this seems to
have been a problem going back over all the builds through the past
week.

I'd be happy to provide any more info on my configuration that may be
of use...

Hi Jesse,

Looks like you found a good bug. Would you file it on our bug tracking
system: <http://bugs.slimdevices.com>?

Thanks,

dean
