Win 2000. Flac 1.1.1a. Slimserver 5.3.1, firmware 39, Squeezebox using
digital out. Wireless. Flac streaming as PCM. Issues: 1) Mix cds and gaps.
2) Cue sheets and also embedded cue sheets.

Thanks Jason. Done that and unfortunately it made no difference at all.
BTW. I am using Flac 1.1.1a

There is something else that probably has a bearing too...

Using either versions of the convert.conf file, when I look at a single file
cd with embedded cue sheet via "Browse Music Folder" the file appears to be
empty. i.e. Slimserver displays no more information than the title of the
artist and album. It is impossible to play it as no tracks appear in the
"Music Player" pane and no further information at all in the "Browse Music
Folder" pane.

I think it's checked by default... anyway, it was checked when I ripped.
Thanks

I just gave this a try and I do not get gaps - or else they are too small to
notice in casual listening.

NetBSD 1.6.2, FLAC 1.1.1, Slimserver from CVS and Softsqueeze.

I'm using external cue sheets.

However, I'm seeing a different issue. The last track of the external cuesheet
is not being parsed correctly. I'll see if that's my problem or the
slimserver's.

Is this the last track appearing as the whole album issue? or are you
seeing something new with parsing the last track?

There are known issues right now with cuesheet parsing and "Browse
Music Folder". If you're using "cd in a single file with cuesheet"
right now you're probably best to stick to the "browse artist" and
"browse album" style links for playing your music.

It also should be noted that currently slimserver will deal reasonably
with flac files that have embedded cuesheets or external cuesheets,
but having both (for the same file) is likely to cause problems.

If you're having other problems with cuesheet parsing, I'd like to
hear more about them.
