I solved the Xfm problem - the URL should be

mms://ms2.capitalinteractive.co.uk/xfm_high (or _low)
if anyone's interested.

And it works! Still 100% CPU though.

Subject: [slim] Internet radio problems

Now the proxy code has been fixed I can use the internet radio - hurrah!

It works fine "aurally" but the combination of Softsqueeze & SlimServer
is using 100% CPU time on my 2.8Ghz P4/1Gb Windows XP box!
(85/15 Slim.exe/javaw.exe), rendering it almost useless for anything
else!

Is this normal?!
I tried Virgin Radio UK & Bossa Brazil from Slimdevices Picks which both
behaved the same.
Pause playback and CPU usage drops back to normal.
I don't know which debugging options might help here?

Also should SlimServer now be able to play the Xfm radio stream (I think
it's WMA format)?
I created the playlist below but it does not connect...

[playlist]
numberofentries=1
File1=http://ms2.capitalinteractive.co.uk/xfm_low
Title1=Xfm
Length1=-1
Version=2

Thanks!

James
