Hi
Just signed up for a MOG trial. Installed it on my Touch and anytime I use it it switches the player from the server on my vortexbox, to mysb.com.

Can this be avoided? When the player switches to mysb.com I can't control it using iPeng.

I am able to use MOG but have to rely on screen input on the Touch, which is a deal breaker for me.

FYI I have no issues using padora and spotify.

I also don't get any album art when playing tracks on MOG using my Touch.

It's not at all iPeng related, that's how it behaves when you use an old server version that doesn't support MOG.
Update the server version on your vortexbox

When the player switches to mysb.com I can't control it using iPeng.

That should work, you just have to register iPeng on MySB using the same account as for your Squeezebox.
Unlike the Squeezebox, iPeng doesn't force you to register with MySB so you have to do that manually. Just tap on "MySqueezebox.com" under "Music Sources".
If you've registered iPeng for a different account than your SB you can change the account _after_ switching to MySB using the blue ">" arrow behind MySqueezebox.com".

I'm running 7.6.1
Is there a way to upgrade just the server software?

I'm pretty sure MOG support was introduced with 7.7.0. Upgrading the server software should be a simple matter of using the vortexbox graphical user interface. See, for example, http://vortexbox.org/threads/3121-Logitech-Media-Server-7-7-1-released-for-VortexBox

Yes there are threads on vortexbox forums on how to do this. Just a simple command. See this:

7.7.1, I believe.
Anyway, I'd go to 7.7.2

damn. wish I had seen this before I took the route of upgrading the entire Vortexbox to 2.0 and royally screwed things up :)
