hey guys,

I can't say that I have happy news to report. In an attempt to correct
my dropouts, which I thought might be due to load on the box running my
slimserver, I migrated from 5.3.1 on Linux to the latest nightly on
Windows. Everything works from with my Squeezebox. But my Slimp3 is
playing garbled music, with lots of beeps, chirps, fadeouts, and
possible a bit sped up.

I'm running the firmware that came with the latest nightly. Known issue,
or do I have a genuine new bug?

I'm having a huge party tomorrow.. so wa shoping to resolve my drop out
issues with a quick move to a more powerful box -- oh well :/ I guess I
just won't have synchronized music.

RJW,

It sounds like the audio data is corrupted. This could be a bug in the
server, but since your Squeezebox is working fine, it might be a
hardware issue with your SLIMP3.

Contact support (AT) slimdevices (DOT) com and see if they can help you out.
