I'm currently running Slimserver on a Windows XP PC, using iTunes
library as my music library.

I'm soon getting a new PC, and intend to convert my old one to a Linux
server. I'll be leaving all the MP3s on it, and installing a Linux
version of Slimserver.

However, I will still also access my tunes via iTunes on the new Windows
PC, and I'd like to keep iTunes as the library source so that I can
carry on using dynamic playlists etc. Is anyone else doing this, and/or
does anyone have any tips as to how I'd go about doing it?

Cheers,

I've got all my mp3's on my linux box and run itunes on windows. I
run samba on the linux box and mount the drive on my windows box. The
only problem is when I reboot...i need to remember to open the mount
and login or else itunes won't be able to find any of the tracks
because it doesn't have access yet.
