Hi, folks. I just got my Squeezebox today, and am 99% of the way to
wireless musical nirvana, but I have a problem with playing my MP3s.

I had no trouble at all setting up SlimServer 5.3.1 on my RedHat 9
server, nor did I have any problem setting up the Squeezebox on my
wireless network using 64 bit encryption. The Squeezebox loaded
firmware version 39 upon startup.I have a signal strength of
between 55 and 65%.

I can start playing music just fine. What happens after that depends
on how I've accessed the server.

If I've chosen an album via a web browser to my server, the Squeezebox
plays 20-30 seconds of the first song, then stops and begins playing
it again. If I hit stop, the song simply begins playing again; I
cannot stop it from playing unless I clear the playlist. If I pause
the play with the remote, the Squeezebox begins playing again after
20-30 econds. From the browser, a pause just starts it again.

If I've used the remote to select songs, I will again hear 20-30
seconds of the first song, after which point it jumps and begins playing
the next song in the playlist. After 20-30 seconds of that, it jumps
and starts playing the next song. The display continues to display
the first song's title. It's only when I stop the play that the title
of the last song that played is displayed.

Thanks for any and all pointers!

I just heard from SlimDevices tech support, who had me change the
browser skin back to the default. That did the trick for me - the
Squeezebox is fine!
