Looks like a good product, but signal strength is not my problem, I set
up a WDS and I have good signal strength throughout the house.

The problem is lost packets, and the Squeezebox and Slimp3 and
Slimserver not aware that the packet is lost, all just think the
players are happily playing, when they are actually stopped.

BTW: The message on the Squeezebox or Slimp3 says "playing"

I really think that the problem is handshake, the Server doesn't know
the device is stopped and the device doesn't have the ability to send
message that it is really not playing. If other things worked like
this, I would never complete a download. When packets are lost in a
download, something is triggered to record the fact, and it is
corrected. It appears to me that the Slimserver abd squeezebox/slimp3
software is just not robust enough to do this. Maybe it can never be
made to do this, but to me, it will always be a weak point in the total

Overall, I am happy, but I just wish it worked better, I really don't
recomnend the product to my friends because I just don't want them
coming back to me and telling me the same thing is happening to them as
it is to me.
