The above is an 802.11b device.

I am using the D-Link DWL-G800AP which is 802.11g
http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=267
I finally got it all working after updating the firmware and messing around
a bit with settings. Rebooting the D-Link DI-624 router was the final step
needed to get it all working.

Wireless Range extendersi acutally bought the linksys wireless g extender until tech support admitted that it didn't work with 128bit WEP - they said they were working on it. anyone know if they fixed this?

I don't know about the Linksys, but my D-Link worked with 128bit WEP.

Wireless Range extendersI put extenders on my Linksys box but I've been unable to discern any significant improvement!
