I notice in my USER CP, Signature permissions that some things are turned to OFF (e.g., use HTML, use smilies, etc.). How does one change to OFF to ON on some of these permissions?

I guess you beg the powers to be. You've been here so long that most of them weren't available in the early versions of the forum.

;-) you mean I can't fix this with TT3.0. I'm thinking that the change in audio would be staggering and reveal nuances never before heard if I could just use BOLD in some of my signature block....

If you just want bold, you can use the BB code for this:

Like:
[ b ]I love my Squeezebox[ /b ]
[ img ]http://forums.slimdevices.com/images/icons/icon7.gif[ /img ]

Which (without the intermediate space characters) will result in:
I love my Squeezebox
http://forums.slimdevices.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Of course, you might end up producing a too long signature, since the length is limited, so you might need to prioritize what to include.

For me personally, I'd like people to focus on the content of my posts rather than the signare, but that's just me http://forums.slimdevices.com/images/icons/icon6.gif

Smiles and html is disabled for me too by the way.

thanks erland. I was just curious. (and I went years without a sig, but added because I got tired of often pointing out what equipment I was using when trying to provide info about my own use case to others....
