Well, that could well be my problem, My upload speed is 256mbps and I am
streaming at .... Hmm, I think I have found it - am I right in thinking is
is in the settings for the 'player' ie. The listed IP address of the
connection that I am running Softsqueeze on?

If so, this is currently set to 'No Limit' - I expect that it should be
limited to - something a little less than the bandwidth of the internet
connection! Can you suggest the most appropriate setting ?

What's your upload speed on the server end? What data rate are you
streaming?

Slimserver/Squeezebox works well over the internet, but you need to
have a solid uplink at the server. Most DSL/Cable providers are spotty
in this regard.
