Dave,

Try a place that stocks boat and marine related items. When I was a
young lad,
I mounted a regular car stereo to the outside door of a van and put a
marine radio cover over the outside. It allowed people to see what was
playing, change tapes (not 8-tracks, but a tape seems antiquated anywho)
and turn up/down the volume from outside the vehicle. Rain or shine,
and it was fairly secure. It was pretty cool.
