Configuring Remote Streaming

I need help on configuring my router & Slimserver to stream music such
that I can play it at work in my office

Here's my setup
1) Wireless Router: Linksys WRT54G with Firmware v1.42.2
2) Wireless Squeezebox (IP address on connection with the router is
http://192.168.1.101)
3) Slimserver v5.3.0b1 for Windows
4) Asus laptop m5200 running Windows XP home edition - with Internet
Connection Firewall box NOT checked. This laptop runs the Slimserver.
The IP address for this on connection with the router is
http://192.168.1.112 (home network)
On checking on www.whatismyip.com, I found out the actual IP address of
my connection (is this the correct method?)
5) IBM laptop T40 running Windows XP Pro - with Internet Connection
Firewall box NOT checked. This laptop is the one I want to use for
connecting remotely to Slimserver to access my music via SoftSqueeze v1.2

So I hope you can advise on how exactly I can connect from my office to
my Squeezebox & Slimserver to stream my music.

I have already gone into my Linksys router and opened up the Port Range
as follows
Application: Squeezebox
Start: 9000, End: 9000
Start: 3483, End: 3483
Protocol: Both (TCP, UDP)
IP Address: 192.168.1.112
Enable: box checked

When I am in my office, when I try and access the web page:
http://actualIPaddress:9000, it just shows an error page.
When I use my Winamp (via http://actualIPaddress:9000/stream.mp3) or
Softsqueeze nothing happens

winamp needs to be configured to get through your work proxy/firewall if
applicable. even then, port 9000 has to be allowed by yoru work firewall.
